Katarzyna Priebe,
President/CEO
After over 10 years of working in the security industry and being a
part of several large security company consolidations, Katarzyna
founded Priebe Security Services in order to provide customers with a
quality alternative to big international providers - a company that
values individuals.
Prior to founding Priebe Security, Katarzyna served as Vice President
of Sales for United Building Security, Business Development Manager for
Barton Protective Services, and Sales Manager for American Protective
Services. Throughout her career, Katarzyna has gained significant
experience in security operations and has developed proven leadership
skills.
Additionally, Katarzyna founded and served as president of the Austin
Polish Society, a 501C non-profit organization promoting Polish culture
in Austin. She has also provided leadership and community service as
the chair of numerous committees in industry organizations such as
BOMA, IFMA, and ASIS. Katarzyna earned her bachelors degree in Russian
from The University of Texas at Austin.
Albert
Melendez-Vasquez, Operations Manager
Albert Vasquez is the Operations Manager for Priebe Security. Having
worked his way up through the ranks at Priebe Security he now trains
new officers, manages scheduling, and assists in daily branch
operations.
Albert retired from a distinguished career in the US Army after
returning from Iraq with numerous awards and decorations including
Meritorious Service and Global War on Terrorism Medals.
Melanie
Diaz, Human Resources Manager
Professional in Human Resources certified with over 11 years of
experience, Melanie is responsible for all HR functions including
recruiting, staffing, and employee relations for Priebe
Security. Prior to joining Priebe Security, Melanie provided
multiple levels of HR support to companies such as Delaware North
Companies/Austin, Calendar Club and Hoover’s Online.
Throughout her career, Melanie has continued her ongoing HR education
through membership with the Austin Human Resource Management
Association and Society for Human Resource Management. She
volunteers with HAAM – the Health Alliance for Austin
Musicians, which provides health benefits for local musicians. Melanie
earned her bachelors degree in Mass Communications from Southwest Texas
State University.
